At Greenville Football Club we believe in the value of community and education, whether that be educating our players on the pitch or our staff off the pitch. At Greenville FC we feel strongly about providing a platform for growth, which is why we are happy to announce our 2018 Internship Program. This program will allow individuals an opportunity to work under a semi-professional sports organization, gaining them valuable knowledge and work experience.

Greenville FC will be looking to fill 8 internship positions for the 2018 season with roles ranging from sales to game day operations. The position titles and description are as follows:

  • Marketing & Sales Intern (2) – This role will expose individuals to the responsibilities of managing ticket sales and retail operations. This individual will assist in discussions involving Greenville FC operations as well as the creation of any strategies that pertain to sales and marketing.
  • Media Relations Intern (2) – Assist with game day responsibilities including: Writing, preparation and distribution of game notes and program inserts. Assist with game night responsibilities including: Press box and room set-up and maintenance pre, during and post-game; Distributing media credentials pregame; Distribution of statistics and other materials; Assisting media with any needs that arise; Post-game web update. Writing of game stories for program and web. Proofreading of all written material, including press releases, game programs, game notes, web materials, etc.
  • Creative Services Intern (2) – Get practical experience working on a large Creative Team and an industry-leading Sports Entertainment brand. Work on real projects alongside expert creatives and marketers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Learn the “why?” behind creative decisions with critiques from senior team members. Understand the ins and outs of the creative process.
  • Operations & Management Intern (2) – This internship will expose the individual to the everyday responsibilities necessary to manage a professional soccer club. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of many divisions of the club.
